The Assembly Call IU Basketball Fan Community

A dedicated social network for Indiana basketball fans.

About Us

The Assembly Call was founded in 2011 by IU graduates Jerod Morris, Andy Bottoms, and Ryan Phillips. A few years later, Brian "The Coach" Tonsoni joined the team.

Since 2011, we have hosted a live postgame show for almost every IU basketball game. We also host a show every Thursday night at 9 ET called Assembly Call Radio, and we go live with "emergency" shows whenever important news breaks.

Why You Should Join Us

Our show began as a simple way to bring IU fans together online after IU basketball games. It has evolved into a global community of IU fans who enjoy engaging in respectful, supportive, and knowledgeable discussion about their Hoosiers.

Hosting a private social network like this one for our most dedicated supporters was the next logical step in our show's evolution. If you value respectful and knowledgeable discussion about Indiana basketball (and other sports as well), we hope you'll join us inside.

Why does membership in the community cost money? Two reasons:

  1. The revenue helps us cover the costs of hosting the community. (This is a great platform, which is why we chose it ... but it's not cheap.)
  2. We want to avoid trolls. Also, this community is for serious IU fans only. The paywall helps us maintain the kind of community we all want to be a part of.

That said, we don't want the paywall to be a deterrent from potentially valuable community members joining. So if you really want to join, but you simply can't afford the price, email [email protected] and explain your situation.

A Big Thanks

The revenue we generate from the community assists us in paying the recurring fees for hosting the community, as well as other costs associated with our show. Thank you! We couldn't do it without you.
